News

At the 2008 PRIDE conference, several awards were won.  Jessa Koch received the Youth of the Year award an www.prideofbp.org won the award for number one website.  In addition, PRIDE of Bethel Park was nominated for Team of the Year for the second year in a row.

The Bethel Park PRIDE Team has once again been nominated for the prestigious award of Team of the Year!
 
On January 1st, the Advisory Council revised the Substance Use Policy, Attendance Policy, and instated a cell phone policy at meetings.  To see the Substance Use Policy, click here.  To see the Attendance Policy click here.
 
On December 29th, the PRIDE team celebrated the season by taking a trolley downtown, eating dinner, and ice skating at PPG Place.  To see pictures from ice skating, click here.
 

On December 28th, PRIDE ran the concession stand at the Battle of the Bands.

 
On December 14th, PRIDE ran the snack bar at the NAMS JAMS and collected hats, gloves, and scarves to donate to the Washington City Mission.  To see the flyer, click here.  To see the all the hats and gloves donated, click here.  Washington City mission sent back a thank you letter to tell us how much they appreciated us collecting the hats gloves and scarves.  To see the letter, click here.
 
On December 9th, four members of the PRIDE team and one advisor made 30 dozen cookies to donate to Mayview State Hospital.  To see the members of the cookie baking crew, click here.
 
On November 26th, an article about PRIDE of Bethel Park appeared in the Bethel Park Chronicles, a magazine that is published every three months and sent to every Bethel Park resident.  To see the article, click here.
